We’re looking to hire a design associate to work hand + hand with our senior and interior designers as well as our full-service clients clients. We are looking for a talented, naturally driven individual with a passion for interior design and changing peoples lives through design.

OVERVIEW

The Design Associate will assist in every step of the client project lifecycle, from managing product schedules, assisting with layouts, creating custom design boards, sourcing products and materials, and assisting our lead designers with project installations. If you are fresh out of college or a recent internship in the interior design world, this position is perfect to get your feet wet in our fast growing firm.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Develop client project design vision with lead designer on project.

  • Assist with space planning and layouts of single rooms or small furnishings and build projects.

  • Maintain an organized and simple product board for our lead designer and Gina.

  • Order project samples and keep them organized within each project.

  • Assist in preparing our presentation meetings for our clients in our studio.

  • Communication with vendors to obtain quote, ask product questions and check on availability.

  • Assist in installation prep and onsite on install day(s)

  • Cultivate professional relationships with industry partners

  • Assist with working alongside new vendors on our private label furnishings and new product for our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of furnishings vendors and their design styles

  • Bachelors Degree in Interior Design (this may be overlooked based on experience).

  • Someone who prides themselves on extreme attention to detail

  • Follow through on all aspects of the job, from consult to install, is a must

  • Proficient in AutoCad (Chief Architect & Photoshop a plus)

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • The confidence and skills to communicate your ideas clearly to clients and the team

  • The ability to handle a fast paced work environment.

  • Strong leadership ability and self-motivation
